The "Dragon Ball" anime series came alive again when "Dragon Ball Super" launched in the middle of this year. Chronicling Goku and his friends after the events of the Z warriors' battle against Majin Buu (re-enacted in a reboot of the series as "Dragon Ball Kai"), the series even went so far as to depict the battle of Goku with Beerus in the franchise movie, "Battle of the Gods."
The new series "Dragon Ball Super" has aired with 13 episodes so far, with the latest shown on Oct. 4. In the episode, the battle between Goku and Beerus had reached its point, with both parties giving their best for an all-out brawl. The episode also saw Goku reaching the time limit of his powers as the Super Saiyan God.
Those who are new to the series would recall that Beerus originally went to Earth to battle the Super Saiyan God, which had already been shown to him via a prediction. The prediction came true when Goku wished on the Dragon Balls and asked Shenron how to make the Saiyan God appear.
Meanwhile, in the upcoming episodes for "Dragon Ball Super," it seems that the battle will already reach its conclusion. Kanzenshuu translated the upcoming issue of Japanese magazine Saikyō Jump, which listed the upcoming stories up to episode 20.
