'Doctor Who' season 8 spoilers: 12 episode details finally released

The spoilers of all spoilers have come. "Doctor Who" showrunner Steven Moffat released details of all 12 episodes in the upcoming season 8, which will return to BBC1 next month. Season 8 will feature Peter Capaldi as Time Lord.

According to Mirror UK, Moffat teased essential information on what "Doctor Who" fans can expect on the new season.

Episode 1 is titled Deep Breath, which will be focusing on Clara coping and a terrifying monster. Moffat says that this will be a huge introductory show. Episode 1 is the only episode with a title as of the moment and it's written by Steven Moffat himself.

Phil Ford wrote Episode 2 which will be about the Daleks getting nasty. "It's actually quite a gritty Dalek adventure," says Moffat.

Mark Gatiss wrote Episode 3, the episode where the Doctor and Robin Hood meets.

Moffat wrote Episode 4. "A complete departure for me in terms of writing Doctor Who," he describes. The episode will show the Doctor's minor nervous breakdown."

Steve Thomson wrote Episode 5, which is described to be a heist movie, while Episode 6 was penned by Gareth Thomas, which is a mix of serious and comedy bits.

Peter Harness wrote Episode 7 and Moffat describes it as "Proper Drama." Jamie Mathieson wrote Episode 8 and 9. Episode 8 features Foxes singing. Moffat describes the episode as "looks stunning in a very glamorous way." And Episode 9 will be a terrifying one, "with one of our best ever sight gags in it" teased Moffat.

Frank Cottrel Boyce wrote Episode 10, which is an unusual fairytale.

Moffat ends the season by writing Episodes 11 and 12. He clearly described the episodes, saying, "It's about Clara and the Doctor and how the way they interact might not be healthy for everyone around them."

That was quite a reveal. Tune in to BBC and BBC America on August 23 to catch "Doctor Who" return with season 8.
