Blizzard is catering to its loyal customers once again, but more specifically, to "Diablo 3" players. The developing and publishing company has finally announced the starting date of "Diablo 3" Season 2, which will commence on Feb. 13, 6 p.m. in North America, Europe, and Asia, as stated in the Diablo 3 forum

As for the ending dates of Season 1, the schedule based on region is as follows

  • North America: Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 4:00 p.m. PST
  • Europe: Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 4:00 p.m. CET
  • Asia: Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 4:00 p.m. KST

But what happens to all the things that players gained during Season 1? According to game's blog, they get to keep them.

"Note that all heroes, rewards, and progress will convert to the appropriate non-Seasonal game mode," the website states. "Any items, gold, Paragon experience, Achievements, Artisan levels or recipes, Stash space, and Blood Shards earned on Normal Seasonal heroes with transfer to your Normal non-Seasonal heroes when the season is over. Similarly, anything you've earned on Hardcore Seasonal heroes will transfer to your Hardcore non-Season heroes instead."

However, Conquests will not be carried over and Seasonal Leaderboards will be cleared until Season 2.

The action adventure role playing video game was released way back in 2012. Since its release, the title was able to set a new record for being the fastest PC game to be sold, having been able to sell 3.5 million copies within 24 hours. Ever since its release, there have been several updates released for both PC and console platforms.

The game's expansion, titled "Diablo III: Reaper of Souls," was released on May 25 last year Windows and OS X. For the PS4 and Xbox One, the expansion pack was released on Aug. 19, 2014 and was included in "Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition."
