'Castle' season 7 spoilers: 3XK is back, Beckett is in danger in episode 14

Castle season 7 ABC

Castle and Beckett will meet an old enemy in the next episode of "Castle." The partners are gearing up for another intense battle with the group of killers called 3XK, which they last saw in season 6.

In season 7 episode 14, it's going to be a reunion for Castle, Beckett, Dr. Kelly Nieman and maybe, serial killer Jerry Tyson. The title for the episode is "Resurrection."

In the episode promo, Beckett says, "We meet again," and then a shot of Dr. Kelly Nieman smiling is shown. That alone sends shivers down one's the spine. But after a few shots, Jerry Tyson is seen as well. The background details that "the elusive serial killer team returns."

"Whatever you're up to, we will stop you," Beckett says.

While this might give every fan peace of mind, the following line from Castle quickly dissolves that good feeling.

Castle asks, "Where's Beckett?" and the shot shows killer Tyson just smiling. It's unsure if Tyson is really back or if it's just a doppelganger. Nevertheless, it is highly possible that 3XK is back and they are back for blood and they are starting with Beckett.

The official synopsis for "Resurrection" goes:

"When clues in a murder implicate Castle and Beckett's nemesis, Dr. Kelly Nieman (guest star Annie Wersching), Castle will get called in to consult on the case. But as the team delves deeper into the investigation, they are going to uncover connections to notorious serial killer, Jerry Tyson (guest star Michael Mosley), on Part 1."

"Resurrection" is just the first part of the two-part episode. Episode 15 is titled "Reckoning."

Elsewhere, actress Tamala Jones briefly spoke about this two-part episode and how "outrageous" it is.

"You've never seen a Castle episode like these. It's completely outrageous. You're going to cry, you're going to think someone died ... Your mind and your heart are going to be one," Jones told TVLine

She also added that fans will have a hard time waiting for Part 2 because it is that good. As for the conclusion, she described it as "emotionally driven." Could that point to an emotional moment when Castle finds Beckett?

"Castle" season 7 episode 14 airs Feb. 9 on ABC.
