'Boruto: Naruto Next Generations' episode 65 is skipping this week because of a Pokemon movie countdown and will be back next week instead. And what an episode it promises to be.

Followers of the anime series were more than a little annoyed to be told that there would be no July 12 airing with the final battle on the cards.

So they will probably be happy that it's just one more week now until episode 65 airs on July 19 instead.

It's still a frustrating wait for sure, but at least it's going to air. And when it does, we can expect a big showdown between Boruto and Naruto against Momoshiki. That much is expected just from the title of the episode which is 'Father and Son.'

According to reports, Sasuke will also be involved in the epic tussle. The joint effort of all three is certainly needed after we saw Momoshiki grow in power in episode 64 when he took Kinshiki's chakra.

Actually, the spoilers reveal that it will first be Naruto and Sasuke joining forces against Momoshiki but when this encounters problems, specifically in the form of a shadow paralysis Jutsu, it becomes the ultimate set up for Naruto and Boruto to work together, father and son, side by side, against the evil villain.

For sure, it's not going to be an easy ride for them against Momoshiki as ComicBook reports that his new golden colored Rinnegan and all of its major powers will be fully revealed in the next episode.

With so much in store in the next episode, it's no wonder that Boruto fans are getting hyped on Reddit

Some fans on Reddit  have also been intrigued by Momoshiki's Rinnegans on his hands and forehead turning red.  Does that have special meaning?  We'll probably know soon as this thrilling arc comes to its climax.
