"Boku no Hero Academia," otherwise known as "My Hero Academy," opened their second season right at the sports festival. Episode 7 titled "Victory or Defeat" will feature Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, in his fight against the scary-looking Hitoshi Shinso.

In the preview released, the stadium raised noise in support of the underdog who inherited All Might's powers. If using his powers injured him because his body is unable to withstand the pressure, how can Deku win his fight against Shinso, who has been known to possess the power of brainwashing people?

For fans who have faithfully followed the manga alongside the anime series, they already know what's about to happen.

Shinso will start off the fight with insults, trying to provoke Deku who would rise up to take the bait. As a result, Shinso will have control over his body in that he will tell him to go out of bounds, which will result in Deku's elimination.

Before Deku can reach the line though, Deku's sheer willpower and determination will summon a strange image that will help him activate his powers and break off from the spell. The fight would continue and Deku will most likely emerge as the winner.

The previous episodes of "Boku no Hero Academia" season 2 featured a lot of backstories that the fans weren't able to see in the first season. Shoto Todoroki's powers were explained as well as the turmoil he experienced when it came to his family. With such a rich plot underway and as the sports festival continues to unravel, fans can expect a thrilling and exciting "Boku no Hero Academia" season 2.

"Boku no Hero Academia" season 2 episode 7, "Victory or Defeat," will air on Saturday, May 13 and will be available for streaming on the same day.
