Yolanda Foster recently gave an update about her health. "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star has been battling Lyme disease since 2012, and in a new Instagram post, the former model let her followers know that she intends to keep fighting the debilitating disease.

The 51-year old took to the photo sharing app on Wednesday, Oct. 21, to share a photo of herself during what appears to be a physical therapy session. She captioned the shot, "It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you don't stop……..#SmallVictories #ComingBack #LymeDiseaseAwareness." In the photo, Foster is seen wearing a fitted white shirt and tan and white zebra print leggings.

Last week, the reality star also shared a photo of herself at a facility where she underwent Low Dose Immunotherapy for the first time. In the photo, a technician is seen injecting into Foster's arm. She captioned the photo, "Being challenged in life is inevitable, being defeated is optional."

Since the star was diagnosed with Lyme disease, Foster has been regularly posting on social media to update her fans about her health and to share news about the various medical and alternative treatments that she has been trying and to spread awareness about the disease.

Earlier this month, Foster was honored at the Global Lyme Alliance Gala in New York City and she was given the Power of One award. During her speech, she revealed that her children, Bella, 18, and Anwar, 16, were also diagnosed with the disease in 2012.

"Watching my babies struggle in silence in order to support my journey, struck the deepest core of hopelessness in me," she said.

"This award is for Anwar and Bella…I will walk to the end of the earth to find a cure so that you can live a healthy life that you deserve," she continued.

Foster is expected to return to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" for its sixth season on Bravo.
