UK concerts conclude Gaither European tour

|PIC1|Southern Gospel legends, The Gaither Homecoming Tour, concluded their European tour last month with three barnstorming UK concerts at The Odyssey Arena, Belfast; the SECC in Glasgow and The Royal Festival Hall in London.

Each venue was packed with Gaither fans of all ages enjoying the incredible musical talent present and the unique joyous atmosphere that always accompanies the globetrotting Gaithers wherever they travel.

Torrential storms and severe traffic delays failed to dampen the enthusiasm of Gaither fans making their way to the Glasgow concert, while the prestigious Royal Festival Hall in London was sold-out.

Ronnie Morrison from Northern Ireland’s Downtown Radio attended the Belfast concert.

He said, "The biggest thrill of the evening for the audience and the loudest and greatest show of appreciation went to the new ‘all star’ line-up of the Gaither Vocal Band. I was amazed at their vocal harmonies and pure vocal quality of these five individual artists who are now The Gaither Vocal Band.

"'Gaither ‘Classics’ never sounded as well since this new Vocal Band rearranged the songs and harmonies to suit their individual voices…they certainly touched the very appreciative audience with their singing."

As well as the Gaither Vocal Band the concerts featured some of the Homecoming Tour’s greatest stars. Ernie Haase and Signature Sound delighted their audience with superb four-part harmonies in a real world class performance, they will return to the UK in February 2010 (keep an eye on www.authenticmedia.co.uk for details of their concerts when announced).

Buddy Green gave an amazing rendition of several classical pieces on his harmonica while Gordon Mote clearly demonstrated his remarkable talent for the piano. Janet Paschal, Lynda Randle and Mark Lowry also gave spellbinding performances.

After three such enjoyable and unforgettable concerts the UK’s Gaither fans will be hoping it won’t be too long before The Homecoming Tour return to our shores again.
