'The Vampire Diaries' season 6 episode 2 spoilers: Elena forgets Damon, Stefan's whereabouts to be discovered by Caroline and Enzo

"The Vampire Diaries" kicked off its sixth season with a premiere episode that started whole new storylines and more questions asked. Episode 2 will air this Thursday and it's entitled "Yellow Ledbetter." So, what will happen on "TVD" Season 6 Episode 2?

Bonnie and Damon

Bonnie and Damon or Bamon time travels to 1994, specifically to May 10. They will keep reliving the same day.  According to the synopsis, the two will try to figure out where they are and how they could return home.  They will work together, albeit reluctantly.

Entertainment Weekly said that Bamon will know where they are when the episode ends.

Elena forgets Damon

Elena wants to forget Damon and she asked Alaric to force her love for him away because she needs to move on.  In the promo for "Yellow Ledbetter," Alaric tells Elena that she must find that specific moment when she fell in love with Damon.  Elena, however, doesn't recall when it was.

Caroline and Enzo's roadtrip

The synopsis says: "Enzo convinces Caroline to join him as he tracks down a lead to get Damon and Bonnie back."

Caroline agrees. However, before they even get a clue as to where Bonnie and Damon are, they discover something else, or better yet, someone.  He is no other than the other Salvatore brother, Stefan.

"Caroline is shocked when they make an unexpected detour and uncover what Stefan has been up to," reads the synopsis. Caroline doesn't look happy at all.

Tripp is back with a secret

Tripp, the leader of the militia, will be back in this week's episode. And according to the synopsis, he will confess something to Matt. Could it be that Tripp is actually Matt's father?

"The Vampire Diaries" season 6 episode 2 looks jam-packed. Watch it on Thursday, 8 p.m. only on The CW Network.
