Socialite Lora Drasner may be the next "The Real Housewives of New York" if the producers succeed in convincing her to be part of the reality show for season 8.

An insider told New York Daily News that the showrunners are determined to sign up the 50-year-old jetsetter as a regular cast, but she still remains undecided up to this time. Drasner reportedly shows "a lot of interest" in the show. However, she is "unsure of what it entails."

"She's been offered a slot multiple times and is speaking with producers. She is asking a million questions and asking current cast members out to lunch and shopping trips to try to feel them out," the source said.

Married to Fred Drasner, New York Daily News' former co-owner, Lora is known for her extravagant travels to different parts of the world. She recently showcased her photos taken in Australia, Tahiti, Fiji, Bora Bora, St. Lucia, and the Bahamas in an art exhibit.

The New York socialite will reportedly replace Heather Thomson who has been rumored to be exiting the show after season 7. Reality Tea reports, however, that the star would not comment about the news during a recent interview.

"We have so much to talk about on what's happening on the show right now, we just shot the couch [reunion show]... I mean, who can even think about next season, let's stick to this season," she said.

Meanwhile, season 7 finale of the reality show will feature the housewives at each other's throat. Fashion & Style reports that fans should expect "a bit more drama" when the series comes to a close.

The ladies will clash during Ramona Singer's party celebrating her "new life" after her divorce with Mario. Sonja Morgan will reportedly lambaste Kristen Taekman for being "brain dead," while Heather calls Bethenny Frankel names. The only one who appears to have a happy ending is Dorinda Medley, who will get a surprise from boyfriend John Madessian — a sparkling engagement ring.

"Real Housewives of New York City" season 7 finale airs Tuesday at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
