'Tekken 7' release date: Title coming to U.S. for arcade test; locations confirmed

At long last, "Tekken 7" will be arriving on U.S. shores. After releasing the latest iteration of the widely popular, long-running fighting game in arcades in Japan, Bandai Namco is finally giving gamers outside the country a chance to get their hands on the new title. 

In the official Facebook page for "Tekken," the game publisher revealed that fans can head to select Round One malls and Dave & Buster's outlets to play the game. Here is the complete list of the locations:

The "Tekken 7" arcade test for these locations will take place this month, although Bandai Namco hasn't revealed a specific date yet. All the same, fans in the U.S. feel good knowing that the game is on its way. 

As for gamers who do not live in the U.S. or Japan, Bandai Namco has yet to announce if an arcade test for the fighting game will be set up outside those regions. Gamers are also hoping for a console release that will allow them to play the game at home. Unfortunately, there's no official word about this. 

Bandai Namco has also announced the much-awaited "Tekken 7" tournament called "The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2015,″ where a whopping prize pool amounting up to 10 million Yen ($82,000) await gamers who will emerge on top. The studio also provided limited info about this event.
