Summer Slam 2015 rumors: Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar on a collision course

After that surprise ending to the Wrestlemania main event, it seems almost obvious that the next feud that would be brewing would include new WWE Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins and the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar, who has officially re-signed with the WWE, went berserk on Monday Night RAW, leaving a trail of destruction after failing to catch up to a fleeing Rollins. Lesnar is apparently invoking his rematch clause but such could be hard to come by seeing that Rollins will of course be protected by the Authority.

With the new feud, the WWE is of course building on another storyline. And while Lesnar seemed to be on neutral ground prior to Wrestlemania 31, it seems that he is the latest wrestler (at least per storylines) to hate the power-hungry Authority team.

Though that feud is expected to be somehow built leading towards the next pay-per-view (Summer Slam), it should be interesting to see how Lesnar could be fit in.

Stephanie McMahon inadvertently (or expectedly) suspended Lesnar for his disastrous ways and from the looks of it, the Beast Incarnate won't be around for a while. Lesnar is expected to take his annual hiatus which brings into mind a lot of other angles as far as the WWE heavyweight championship is concerned.

With Lesnar out, it doesn't look likely that this would be a one-on-one match between Lesnar and Rollins. Remember that third man is still around, the controversial Roman Reigns who many had believed would win it all.

Reigns was actually responsible for softening up Lesnar until Rollins found the perfect opportunity to cash in with his Money in the Bank briefcase.

And as everyone perhaps knows by now, a softened Lesnar was the window of opportunity that allowed Rollins to steal the heavyweight title.

A fourth wrestler could also join the fray. Randy Orton, who triumphantly defeated Rollins with perhaps the best RKO ever seen, stands to make life a living hell for Rollins. And with the WWE gold around his belt, it could end up as a Fatal Four-Way match.
