'Sister Wives' season 8 spoilers: Show rumored to be cancelled

TLC

"Sister Wives" is gearing for an eighth season, but according to a report from Ecumenical News, the show might get cancelled as the TLC network might not be comfortable with the show's star, Kody Brown, and his plan of marrying two new more women in season 8.

According to the report, Kody Brown - who already has four wives at this point - is looking to marry two new women. One of them is rumored to be Mindy Jessop, the step neice of Robyn. Robyn is his fourth wife and is also his second legal wife following the divorce between him and his first legal wife, Meri.

It is also rumored he is aiming to marry Amanda, a well-known family friend. It is unknown at this point if both Mindy and Amanda already have a strong romantic relationship with Kody and it is also uncertain how Kody's other wives feel about adding two more girls that they will need to fight for affection and Kody's attention.

However, TLC is apparently quite comfortale with this plan and the report states that the network might be considering canceling the show if Kody wants to move forward with it. While the premise of marrying two more women might draw in more audiences it will also likely draw in more ire against the network.

"Sister Wives" sees Kody Brown and his four wives living under one roof together with all their children, which now amounts to 18, and all the wives consider themselves as sisters, hence the title of the show. As stated by the report, the wives have all shown to have great respect for each other instead of letting the show be about them fighting over Kody.

TLC has yet to announce whether or not "Sister Wives" is getting renewed for an eighth season and when this new season may premiere.
