The Samsung Galaxy S8 is said to boast a beast of a specs sheet. Samsung is determined to make history with the device by making it a Virtual Reality (VR)-centric device.

The launch of the flagship is still months away, but it is already becoming a rumor mill sensation primarily because it will reportedly be a VR-ready device.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will reportedly boast a 4K resolution display. This very screen dubbed the Bio Blue was showcased in the Display Week Conference.

It rocks an insane 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution with 806ppi pixel density. With those numbers, the flagship will surely give users an amazing visual experience.

The device is also expected to come with 4K playback support as well as compatibility with the Android Nougat Daydream VR support.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is also made a real heavyweight with an Exynos 8895 processor humming under its hood. As per the reports, the chipset is being tested for the flagship.

The latest Exynos processor available is the 8890 model, which is the source of power majority of Samsung's premium smartphones released this year.

These handsets are acclaimed by users for their speed and efficiency. With the Exynos 8895 processor, fans could only imagine nippy performance without a hitch.

Of course, a processor as powerful as the Exynos 8895 is needed if the Samsung Galaxy S8 wants to make its mark as an effective VR-ready device.

Helping out the chipset power the mean machine of a flagship is RAM worth 5GB and a huge battery pack at 4000mAh.

As for the design department, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will likely get only one version and that is the curved display one. The South Korean tech titan has expressed its desire to make the "edge" its smartphone identity.

"Samsung has considered that it would make the edge display as the identity of the Galaxy S smartphone lineup if the company can provide consumers differentiated user experience through software and user-friendly functions," Samsung mobile business head of Koh Dong-jin said via Android Authority earlier this month.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be released at the Mobile World Congress 2017.
