'Mortal Kombat X' new patch details: Klassic Reptile skin, game and character improvements

One of the inclusions inthe latest patch 1.05 update released for "Mortal Kombat X" is the Klassic Reptile costume for the characters.

NetherRealm Studios released the latest patch update for the console version of "Mortal Kombat X," fixing some of the most glaring bugs and adding new skin and character changes to improve the overall playing experience of gamers.

Some of the general gameplay fixes in the recently released patch 1.05 update are:

  • Corrected several movelist frame data
  • Fixed the errors in a lot of normal attacks that were initially aimed to be a 0 or negative on block which became overridden to be a +2
  • Eliminated the ability to mash all normal attacks simultaneously with blocking after blocking an opponent's attack
  • Omitting the option to cancel while in the middle of an enhanced interaction while the first 10 frames of several block stuns are activated.
  • Included an unlock counter for Krypt
  • Featured a Team Battle match from the chat lobby
  • Improved Ping meter accuracy
  • Enhanced matchmaking when searching for a Ranked or Player Match
  • Fixed the crash that happens while receiving online vs. challenge during Kombat Kard editing

Meanwhile, some of the character-specific fixes included in the latest "Mortal Kombat X" patch update are:

  • Kitana (Mournful) – The Glaive Throw cannot disable the blocking that eliminates a possible infinite combo, fixed the bug that could be the reason why the 2nd hit of Glaive Return would sometimes fail, and the opponent will no longer be allowed to OTG'd after getting hit by Staff Grab.
  • Kitana – Can now use her X-Ray attack while airborne, but will no longer be airborne during the first frame after her X-Ray successfully connects, which may be the reason why it stops her from blocking, and receive a brand new attack on away +3 (Pretty Kick)
  • Kung Lao (Tempest) - the Cyclone is now presented with seven startup frames instead of the usual five, his Hat Spin & Orbiting Hat had been improved to link in combo properly, and decreased the time it takes for his hat to get back after Hat Spin & Orbiting Hat.

Another notable inclusion in the latest patch 1.05 update is the Klassic Reptile skin. This is a part of game director Ed Boon's promise to provide free "Mortal Kombat X" skins everytime a new DLC patch is released.
