The Moto X 2015 is rumored to arrive soon. Leaks and speculations about the handset run rampant, the latest of which is a new YouTube video posted by Total Tech as well as leaked images showing the set of specs and features of the Motorola flagship.

The video uploader had to blur parts of the phone to protect his identity but it did not make it difficult to discern that the handset featured in the footage has a wooden (NDTV says it's Bamboo) finish, a metal frame, and a large rear-facing camera with dual LED flash plastered on a plastic or metal plate.

In the video, the Moto X 2015 (with model number TX0197) is claimed to have a 5.64-inch display that renders a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution and an ultra-crisp 560 ppi pixel density. Interestingly, GSM Arena received a tip showing the device with a 5.2-inch AMOLED display. This handset bears model number XT1542.

Although the video says that the third-generation handset uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, it is not specified. The other tipster revealed via the leaked image that this chipset is indeed a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.

Total Tech shows the handset having 3 GB RAM, while the leaked image shows there's 4 GB. The tipster went on to say that the handset makes use of a 3280 mAh battery, information that the video does not provide. Both sources claim the Moto X 2015 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Camera-wise, it is believed that the smartphone boasts a 16-megapixel shooter on the back and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper at the front. GSM Arena says the storage department offers 32 GB or 64 GB. The video shows that there are 21 GB available for the owner to use.

According to Phone Arena, the specs vary because there will be two versions of the Moto X 2015 to be released this year. The smaller, 5.2-inch flavor is codenamed Clark and it might sport a Type C USB port. The 5.7-inch one is codenamed Kingzie.

There is still no word about the pricing or the release date but it is heavily believed that Motorola will lift the veil off the handset in August or September.
