Kirk Cameron looks at how to turn boys into godly men

Raising kids in a highly secularised and sexualised generation is no easy task for any parent but Kirk Cameron is hoping a new resource will give dads the support they need in raising their sons into godly men.

In an age where biblical manhood is often misunderstood, neglected, and mocked, the Fireproof actor has teamed up with author Brian Molitor to create a DVD series that looks at what it really means to be a man and how fathers can help their sons make the transition from boyhood to manhood.

The DVD series is about parenting "by design, not just by default".

"Boy's Passage - Man's Journey" takes dads through how they can deliberately and strategically transform boys into the productive and godly men of the future.

In addition to five engaging DVD conversations with Cameron and Molitor, the box set includes a 64-page study guide and Brian's 240-page comprehensive book.

The DVDs cover aspects of development like the importance of having a plan and lifelong mentoring.

"Without the power of the Holy Spirit changing us and giving us power over our sin, we can't hope to be the dads that our boys need us to be," says Cameron.

"That's why Brian & I produced this powerful 5-part DVD series just for dads."
