'Kingdom Hearts 3' release date; Gameplay demo to be shown at 2014 Tokyo Game Show?

Fans of the game "Kingdom Hearts 3" can now cheer with glee as the release date for the game has been confirmed. At the Gamescom 2014, it was revealed that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will launch on May 2015.

There's no doubt that many are anticipating the release of "Kingdom Hearts 3." And the wait just keeps on intensifying as Marvel and "Star Wars" are rumored to be involved in this game.

In an interview with Finaland last year, Nomura disclosed that he himself would like to see "Star Wars" and "Marvel" content in the universe of "Kingdom Hearts." His statement could be foretelling as "Kingdom Hearts 3" is highly likely to feature characters from the movie franchises.

Nomura also discussed that even if he wants to do this, it will be an arduous process to make it happen. He said "it would be great if we could add those licenses as well... there are lots of rules and restrictions by Disney so we can't actually put in everything people want. So it's quite a difficult decision, but we're going to prepare some surprises for you so, just wait for the information." This refers to Disney's franchise restrictions.

According to Kdramastarz, there is a rumor that the cameo from Marvel will be Iron Man. He will be seen in the final credits. Moreover, the rumor says that Iron Man will seek the help of Sora to bring down "Star War's" Darth Vader.

These rumors make "Kingdom Hearts 3" that much more exciting. But then again, these are rumors and there's no definite word on the game developers yet.

Meanwhile, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released on May 2015 for PS3 and PS4 versions. But to make the wait a bit easier, a gameplay demo will be unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show 2014.
