'Jurassic World' spoilers, trailer update: Chris Pratt is a researcher, filming location revealed

Coming off of the Marvel box office hit "Guardians of the Galaxy," many are anticipating Chris Pratt's next action movie "Jurassic World." And of course, who wouldn't want to see the dinosaurs come to life again?

Pratt shared with Mirror a few details about what "Jurassic World" will be. In perfect Pratt fashion, he said "Dude, it's going to be so good. I'm precious about Jurassic Park and I would not want them to f*** it up."

The "Parks and Recreation" actor also shared how different the movie will be from the 1993 original.

"This is new and cutting edge, it has a point of view about how society has changed since the original came out," Pratt said.

Director Colin Trevorrow revealed in an interview with Slash Film that Pratt will play the role of a behavioral researcher doing research on the park's raptors.

"He's just trying to figure out the limits of the relationship between these highly intelligent creatures and human beings," Trevorrow said. "If people don't think there's potential in those ideas, maybe they won't like this movie. But I ask them to give it a chance."

Trevorrow was also asked about misconceptions and leaks surrounding the movie.

"That's the thing about leaks, sometimes they aren't misinterpreted or false," Trevorrow said. "They're real story elements that the filmmakers were hoping to introduce to the audience in a darkened movie theater. But unfortunately, in 2014, you read about it on a computer. Last week was discouraging for everyone on our crew–not because we want to hide things from the fans, but because we're working so hard to create something full of surprises.

"When I was a kid, you got to discover everything at once, it washed over you and blew your mind. Now, it only takes one person to spoil it for everyone else. I hope whoever leaked it is actively trying to undermine what we're doing. Because if they're trying to help, they're doing it wrong."

Trevorrow confirmed filming location rumors.

Trevorrow stated: "Jurassic World takes place in a fully functional park on Isla Nublar. It sees more than 20,000 visitors every day. You arrive by ferry from Costa Rica. It has elements of a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park. There is a luxury resort with hotels, restaurants, nightlife and a golf course. And there are dinosaurs. Real ones. You can get closer to them than you ever imagined possible. It's the realization of John Hammond's dream, and I think you'll want to go there."

"Jurassic Park" is based on Michael Crichton's novels. The filming is complete and a trailer is expected soon. Pratt recently told Collider that "It's [trailer] going to knock your socks off. It's gonna be so awesome, so awesome."

The movie is slated for release on June 12, 2015.
