Josh Duggar sex scandal: Another girl steps forward to say she was also a victim

Just when Josh Duggar from "19 Kids and Counting" thought that his scandals were all behind him, another one of his alleged victims has surfaced and is dragging him back to his rocky past.

When he was just a teenager, Josh was reported to have sexually molested his younger sisters Jill and Jessa, who are now married and have sons of their own. He also allegedly victimised several other girls, although his parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar claimed that these issues have already been resolved.

A young woman is now claiming that Josh molested her at a much earlier time, according to InTouch magazine.

"After last year's revelations about Josh's molestation scandal, word got around that there was another girl who said she'd been abused by Josh when she was a teenager," a source said, adding that this woman is someone the Duggars know personally.

Josh's parents are reportedly terrified that the young woman would reveal more scandalous details about their son, although she has already committed not to press any charges against Josh.

Despite her husband's transgressions, Anna has decided not to divorce him after word got out last year that Josh had been unfaithful to her. It is hard to rebuild the trust in their marriage, but Josh and Anna are determined to make things work out.

"We have been working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing. It isn't easy and some days are very difficult. It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship," they said in a statement.

"We are very thankful for God's forgiveness, grace and help, as it is our strength and guide to rebuilding our lives. As the future unfolds, we are taking one day at a time and we are grateful for your continued prayers for both of us and our sweet children," the Christian couple added.
