Will an iPad Mini 4 be out by October, 2015?

Word around is that the next iPad Mini could most certainly come out and with a lots of improvements in tow. With the iPad Mini 3 not necessarily living up to the hype expected from Apple's offerings, it will now be up to the iPad Mini 4 to erase that stigma and hopefully recover the customers that have been left disappointed.

On rumor (Venture Capital Post) suggests that the iPad Mini 4 will carry an A9 processor that is backed by 2GB of RAM. It will sport a 7.9 inch screen display and will also boast of a Touch ID system which was apparently something not found on the previous iPad Mini 3.

However, another rumor from MacWorld offers a different set of specs. Instead of an A9 processor, MacWorld bares that the iPad Mini 4 will carry an A8X processor and that it will somehow resemble the iPad Air 2.

Of the two rumored specs however, the one from Venture Capital Post seems the most likely one to come out. Apparently this has something to do with Samsung Electronics winning the rights to manufacture the main chip for Apple's next batch of iPhones which is slated to be out by September of this year.

Of course, it seems a bit sneaky hearing Apple and Samsung collaborating together for this. Everyone of course knows the two are rivals in the gadget niche though business is business. So it should be interesting how this turns out, especially when you think about the chip performance that the next batch of Apple devices would be carrying.

With all that said, one of the devices that could very well be a testimony of this unusual partnership would be the iPad Mini 4. Of course Apple has yet to confirm if it is indeed coming in October though Apple is expected to come out with a batch of new devices this year, iPad Mini 4 and iPhones among others.
