iPad Mini 4 release date; what more can Apple offer?

The iPad Mini 3. Rumors speculate that Apple will discontinue the line and will instead focus on a larger iPad Pro. Apple.com

Will an iPad Mini 4 come out this October? Well, there is a big chance that it would and hopefully it will be a whole lot better than the iPad Mini 3, something which has failed to capture the praises of Apple followers.

Word around is that if ever an iPad Mini 4 would be coming out, it has to be better than what the iPad Mini 3 had. The next iPad Mini will reportedly be a refreshed version of the iPad Mini 3, an improved successor which will show off a superior design.

Apparently the iPad Mini 3 offered minimal features to capture the interest of Apple tablet users. Critics say that the only thing striking about the iPad Mini 3 which came out in October of last year is that it had a fingerprint sensor. Aside from that, it was basically the iPad Mini 2 with a different name and that feature.

In short, not much of new features were instilled on the iPad Mini 3. For the ones who had the iPad Mini 2, there is no sense in getting a new one. They are almost and practically the same.

Hence, it places the iPad Mini 4 under a lot of pressure. It will need to carry a whole lot more specs to regain the interest and trust of Apple loyalists

Per rumors, the iPad Mini 4 may have either an A8 or A9 processor and boast of a 7.9-inch screen. It will also have 2GB of RAM and is touted to be the slimmest of all the iPad Minis which have hit the market. Overall, the iPad Mini could be somehow similar to the iPad Air, a design that should separate it from the usual iPad Minis tablet buyers can look forward to.

The iPad Mini 4 will most likely be seen and hopefully released this coming October, the same month when the iPad Mini 3 was unveiled. Here is hoping that the iPad Mini 4 will be a lot better, something that was obviously tarnished with a minimally improved iPad Mini 3.
