iOS 8.2 jailbreak release rumors update: TaiG gives statement

Apple fans who want to jailbreak their devices seem to be confused about whether or not there is now an official jailbreak for iOS 8.2.  It was earlier speculated that the iOS 8.2 jailbreak will come in the last week of March, but up to now, iOS users are still keeping their fingers crossed and are still waiting for the version's release.

When it was reported a month ago, pundits said that TaiG, the team behind the jailbreak tools of previous versions of Apple's iOS, was targeting March 27 for the jailbreak's release as the date coincided with the Mobile Security Summit. The event was held this year in Beijing, China, graced by some famous names in the jailbreak development world such as Comex, Chronic, P0sisninja, and Pimskeks, aside Ray and XN from the TaiG team.

However, Comex confirmed that there is no truth to the rumors that the jailbreak for iOS 8.2 has been released.

The TaiG team corroborated the statement, saying, "At present, rumors about TaiG Jailbreak Team has already released the iOS 8.2 Jailbreak Tool were spreading in the internet. Any information outside of TaiG Jailbreak Team official news channel should not be trusted."

It seems that the TaiG team is having difficulties breaking down Apple's iOS 8.2, since there are reports that the newest update is still un-jailbreak-able just like the previous 8.1.3 version. However, TaiG hopes that their team would find the vulnerabilities. They would reportedly be teaming up with other notable developers to crack Apple's latest operating system.

The statement from TaiG adds, "The development and release of a jailbreak tool was restricted to several factors, however what TaiG Jailbreak Team wanted is to release the jailbreak of iOS 8.2 as soon as possible."
