'What Da X', a gospel programme aimed at teenagers, will be part of The International Gathering of Champions (IGOC) this month in East London.

Hosted by Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), The International Gathering of Champions (IGOC) will take place at the church's head quarters in Hackney. The annual event that has been taking place for the past 13 years will relocate next year to make way for the 2012 Olympics.

Bringing together more than 160,000 people over eight days (26 August - 2 September), IGOC offers a line up of international speakers, teachers and musicians from the US, Africa and the UK.

What Da X takes place on Friday 31 August and Saturday 1 September. The line up of speakers includes speaker Jamal Bryant from the US, who founded The Empowerment Temple which has a congregation of 6,000 people today.

Also in the prestigious line up of speakers is former Charlton football player Richard Rufus. Rufus is a former football defender, who played his entire career at Charlton Athletic. Rufus progressed through the youth system at The Valley, making his debut for the club as a teenager.

He first came to prominence with a 'Man of the match' performance away to Sunderland at Roker Park live on Sky Sports. Since retiring, Rufus has been involved with charity works along with friends and fellow Christian footballers Darren Moore and Linvoy Primus.

In addition, Championship American football player and motivational speaker Keith Davis will also be present. Davis, a former college and professional football player, is also an entrepreneur and speaker who has spoken in over 25 countries including Australia, Russia, Brazil, Egypt and South Africa.
