Three more episodes are left in the current season of "Girl Meets World," but fans are already interested to hear more news about season 3.

Disney Channel gave the go signal for the third season of the "Boy Meets World" spinoff series in November 2015.

The Wrap revealed that the production for "Girl Meets World" season 3 would start this month then it will be broadcasted sometime in Spring 2016.

Details about the plot for the upcoming season 3 remain scarce but viewers are expecting to see the transition that will happen in the life of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga's (Danielle Fishel) daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard) after graduating from middle school.

Riley and her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) will soon embark on a new adventure in high school with their other classmates Lucas (Peyton Meyer) and Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis).

Meanwhile, the writers of the spinoff series recently teased via a recent Twitter post how the transition in high school will affect the plot of "Girl Meets World" season 3. According to the writers, the spinoff could also achieve the same success as its original series when Cory and Topanga moved to high school.

Meanwhile, the next episode of "Girl Meets World" season 2 centers on the financial problem that will be experienced by Farkle's family after his dad Stuart Minkus (Lee Norris), another original character from the "Boy Meets World" series, made a bad investment. Riley's friend will be very stressed out after realizing that their entire family will suffer because of his dad's wrong move.

"Shark Tank" star and businessman Mark Cuban will also appear as himself in the episode that will air on Friday, Jan. 22.
