Frenzy, one of the largest one-day Christian music festivals in the UK, prepares to kick off next month with an impressive new line-up.

Slated for 9 June, the line-up for Frenzy 2007 includes legendary artists Newsboys, Chris Tomlin and Casting Crowns - both recent Dove Award winners - Starfield, Leeland, All Star United and Andy Hunter.

With a new site just launched at frenzyfrenzy.com, two new bands - Bradford's RPM and Manchester's Blush UK - have been confirmed.

The festival debuted in 2005, attracting a crowd of over 5500 and has since set a new standard for Christian music events in Scotland. The first line-up featured top Christian bands like Delirious?, Third Day, The Newsboys and David Crowder Band among others.

The aim of Frenzy is to "deliver a potent blend of faith and a festival atmosphere".

Organiser Justin Dowds comments: "Last year we were blown away at the response to Frenzy06, but this year all expectations have been exceeded again. It's truly amazing to be welcoming to Scotland, for the first time, artists such as Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns and Leeland amongst others. Each year the line up just gets stronger and stronger.

"More than that however, the message too gets louder. Over 200 made a first time commitment to Christ at Frenzy06 and we're in faith for hundreds more at Frenzy07. It's great that so many churches now include Frenzy as part of their evangelism strategies. For the first time ever, we actually believe we can completely sell out the event this year, what a might army for Christ that would be!"
