Cardiff's premier fair trade shop, Fair Do's, is celebrating a decade
of success with a special thanksgiving service.

The service at Calvary Baptist Church in Canton on 4 October will be joined members of the Welsh Assembly and Westminster governments, and many involved in the fair trade movement.

The service will be followed by a fairly-traded cuppa and refreshments.

Fair Do's Executive Director, Jan Tucker, says: "Looking back over the
past ten years, we realise there is much to be thankful for. Fair trade
as a concept, and as a movement, has much to celebrate.

"Wales has become a fair trade nation. Cardiff holds the honour of being the world's first fair trade capital city. And in our little corner of Canton, the fair trade flag has been flying for ten years.

"This thanksgiving service is more than just saying thanks for Fair Do's safe journey through a decade of trading fairly on the high street. It's a way we can say thank you to all those who have helped make this happen over the past ten years too - our wonderful reps, customers, suppliers, producers, volunteers and staff members."
