Council for World Mission Partners to Launch Multicultural Training Module

by Christian TodayPosted: Thursday, May 25, 2006, 17:17 (BST)

Partners of the Council for World Mission have joined together to create a taskforce that will develop a unique new multicultural ministry training module.

The new project will be developed over 2006 by the taskforce before it is piloted in the Netherlands in January 2007.

The project brings together Gert Noort of the Hendrik Kraemer Institute, Katalina Tahaafe-Williams of the United Reformed Church and Congregational Federation director of studies Janet Wootton.

According the CWM, the three heads of the project will process the results of a previous CWM and CWM Europe Region consultation on multicultural ministry into a format that can then be used by academic and theological institutions.
