The highly anticipated action-adventure video game "Batman: Arkham Knight" is shaping up to be the meteoric title fans know it will become as Rocksteady puts it all together in one whole electrifying piece. Fans of the preeminent title in the making were treated with detailed insights on the Caped Crusader's iconic auto, the Batmobile.

In a sit-down interview with Gaming Bolt, Rocksteady Social Marketing Manager Gaz Deaves gushed over the idea of building a highly-structured Batmobile for "Batman: Arkham Knight," relating and reliving the studio's excitement in exploring the possibilities of having a drivable one in the game.

"Batman's car is such an important part of his identity and it's been interpreted so differently by so many different writers and creators. We really felt this sense of obligation to show what our version of the Batmobile would look like and give players the unique experience of driving that car," Deaves told Gaming Bolt. "The Batmobile is Batman's most powerful gadget and it's useful in all kinds of ways depending on the situation."

The vehicle comes in two modes — Pursuit and Battle. The former gives players access to the afterburner and the ejector seat, which will facilitate in high-speed chases and crackdowns and help Batman capture the rogues and crooks of Gotham City like greased lightning. For the latter, the car's turret is activated. With this, the set of high-capacity weaponry slips into view.

Furthermore, the Batmobile is also loaded with avant-garde gadgets, one of which is the powerwinch that allows Batman to "manipulate" environments and destroy obstacles in its path as Gotham City was made more destructible than ever in the game. As opposed to previous titles, the objects Batman smashes and crashes remain busted for good.

"The Batmobile is an essential ally for Batman in dealing with the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. There will be points in the game where players will need it to deal with some of the challenges and some parts where you don't have access to it – but you'll probably wish you did!" Deaves touted.

"Batman: Arkham Knight" also provides the hero with handy armaments as he carries out his crimefighting duties. One is a grapnel gun, which helps Batman hoist himself up into tall buildings in one move. His Batarangs and line-launchers, on the other hand, let him mug the enemies while sashaying to certain spots.

All these gears will be the Caped Crusader's means to explore the significantly larger world that is plagued by his ever adamant and hostile enemies Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn and the newest one on the gang, the titular Arkham Knight. And as a bonus, fans would love to know that there is a big possibility that Batman's alter ego, Bruce Wayne, will be playable in the game.

"Batman: Arkham Knight" will be ready for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 2.
