The latest teaser trailer for "Bates Motel" season 4 episode 5 has been released by A&E and it showcases that the episode will see a lot of moving plots come together, specifically Norman (Freddie Highmore) attempting to check himself out of the mental institute and Norma (Vera Farmiga) dealing with someone "ruining her life."

The promo trailer showcases Norma having sexual, intimate moments with someone and it is speculated to be Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell). However, despite this intimate relationship she is then shown taking a gun out of Romero's bag, hinting that she'll use it against someone she is currently having an argument with.

At the end of the trailer Norma is shown driving out and confronting someone offscreen. Promo images also show her pointing the gun during this sequence, but to whom is still a mystery. It is widely speculated that she could be pointing the gun at Romero's ex-girlfriend, Rebecca (Jaime Ray Newman) or even at her son Norman.

Norman is seen trying to confide his problems in his doctor but this never goes well as he is then showcased screaming, telling the doctor directly that he is not helping him with his problem. Norman is then shown trying to check himself out of the institution and there is a short clip of him at the Bates Motel, suggesting that he has succeeded in getting out.

Before being able to escape, however, another clip reveals Norman's half-brother Dylan (Max Thieriot) trying to tell Norman about something and it is speculated that this is in relation to Dylan moving out of the state together with Emma (Olivia Cooke).

How Norman will take this news will be something for fans to look forward to as he did develop feelings for Emma and was never truly aware of Dylan stepping up to be Emma's new boyfriend.

"Bates Motel" season 4 episode 5 will air on April 11.
