A movie based on the popular game Assassin's Creed is scheduled to come out next year and this early, the main characters are already known.

One of them is Michael Fassbender, the same man who starred in hit films such as "X-Men: First Class" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" where he portrayed Magneto.

Aside from Fassbender however is another familiar character in Marion Cotillard. Cotillard is best known for winning an Academy Award in La Vie En Rose but may perhaps be more popular in the movie "The Dark Knight Rises" where she played the role of Talia al Ghul.

This will not be the first time that Fassbender and Cottillard will be working together. The two were also in the movie MacBeth. And now they take on an interesting project to which Fassbender is also one of the producers.

The adaptation of the popular game from Ubisoft has yet to reveal what role Cotillard will be portraying although it was revealed that she would have the option to appear in multiple film adaptations if the first one becomes successful. The same deal goes for Fassbender as well.

For those who are unfamiliar with the game, Assassin's Creed is a historical fiction-adventure game that can be played on leading game consoles such as the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. The game revolves around the rivalry between two ancient secret societies.
