Sarah Paulson officially confirms her involvement in the highly secretive "American Horror Story" season 6.

During the Television Critics Association summer press tour on Tuesday, the Emmy Awards nominee confirmed that she will be part of Ryan Murphy's critically acclaimed horror anthology series for the sixth time.

Paulson was previously cast to portray the role of Billie Dean Howard in "American Horror Story: Murder House," Lana Winters in "American Horror Story: Asylum," Cordelia Foxx in "American Horror Story: Coven," Bette and Dot Tattler in "American Horror Story: Freak Show" and Sally McKenna in "American Horror Story: Hotel."

The actress is the fourth cast member who was confirmed to join the sixth installment of the series. Angela Bassett accidentally slipped her participation on the show during an interview with Larry King in February, while Lady Gaga confirmed that she will return to the show in March. Cheyenne Jackson announced his part on the show back in June.

Meanwhile, FX boss John Landgraf admitted during the TCA press tour on Wednesday that all the teaser for "American Horror Story" season 6 were released just to add mystery to the plot. This means that only one of the trailers can be considered as a direct clue for the theme of the upcoming season.

"We decided that it would just be really this year we just thought it would be really fun to keep it a mystery this year. And we are," Landgraf said during the press event as reported by Variety. "They went out and made many more trailers than you've actually seen for hypothetical seasons of 'American Horror Story.' One of them is accurate."

Landgraf also said that he can only confirm that there is a certain theme for season 6.

"All I can say is there is a theme. But we're not going to reveal it because we think it would be fun for the audience," he added.

"American Horror Story" season 6 is set to premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
