Previously, it is said that Lenovo may focus only on its new Moto lineups. However, it seems that the tech maker will also continue its other ventures, as a new flagship for its sub-brand ZUK is expected to come out soon.

GizChina reports that a supposed benchmark listing seemingly confirms a new ZUK flagship is in the works. Dubbed as the Edge, the new iteration posts impressive ratings in benchmark site AnTuTu. In terms of the specs and features listed on the supposed leak, the ZUK Edge will be the sub-brand's answer to recent releases by competitors like the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the Huawei Mate 9.

Aside from the benchmark listing, supposed leaks also point out other specs and features of the new flagship. According to the images, the ZUK Edge will sport a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution. Under the hood, the flagship will carry the new Snapdragon 821 chipset, paired with 6 GB of RAM. There is also 128 GB of onboard storage, expected to be expandable via microSD.

There are conflicting lists for the specs and hardware components of the upcoming device. Some supposed leaks also mention the ZUK Edge having 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It is highly possible that there will be at least two or three variants for the flagship, making the ZUK Edge a full lineup.

Other specs and features include a 13-MP main camera at the back, 8-MP selfie shooter at the front, and 3,000 mAh battery. The ZUK Edge is supposed to come out with Android Nougat 7.0 right out of the box.

Meanwhile, although real-life images of the flagship have yet to surface, it is hinted that the ZUK Edge will feature improvements on its screen. This has been the trend in recent releases, as revealed by another China-based tech maker's flagship launch. Xiaomi has released the Mi MIX with its near bezel-less display. While unconfirmed, the ZUK Edge is likely to feature thin bezels or curved-edge display.
