Xbox Games with Gold October 2014 list: 'Halo: Reach' for free

October will be a great month for all Xbox 360 users. That's because the news is confirmed that "Halo: Reach" will be part of Xbox Games with Gold for the coming month. All members of the Gold service will get the game for free. The game is originally valued at $25.

There's no doubt that "Halo: Reach" is one of the most impressive games and the last one in the game franchise. Bungie surely gave their all on this one. As a result, it's considered as one of the best shooter games of all time, reports Tech Times.

This is probably the best time to get "Reach" because it won't be part of the "Halo: Master Chief Collection." It's because there is a different protagonist in "Reach" so it won't make sense to include it in the bundle. Moreover, why spend on the game when you got the whole month to get it for free?

Apart from "Halo: Reach," Xbox 360 users can enjoy other discounted games in the Xbox Live Store this October as well. The game "Valliant Hearts" is at 50 percent off for Xbox 360 users and 33 percent off for Xbox One users. The same discount applies for "LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game."

Other games at discounted prices include "Metro Last Light" which is 67 percent off, and the game "Metro 2033" which is at 75 percent off. While these games do not come free of charge, the bargain is really a steal. And any Gold Member would know that this sale will only last for a short period of time, so October is the best month to get them all.

There are more free games in store for Xbox Games with Gold members. The news should be coming in within the week or next. But from the looks of it, Microsoft is trying to impress with their free games in the coming months due to the dissatisfaction of Gold members before.
