Xbox Games with Gold June 2016: EA Access Vault and other treats for Live members this month

 Xbox Wire

New games are already available for the Games with Gold program of Microsoft, and there are other surprises for Xbox Live members this month.

For the Xbox One, players will have the chance to download for free the talked-about "Goat Simulator" for the whole month of June. Meanwhile, Xbox 360 players get the classic "Super Meat Boy" until June 15. There are also additional games up for grabs in the latter half of the month, as "The Crew" will be unlocked for the current-gen console from June16-July 15, while "XCOM: Enemy Unknown" lands on the Xbox 360 from June 16 to 30.

It should be noted that Xbox One owners have the chance to get all four titles for free, since the two Xbox 360 games are also playable on the current-gen console via the backwards compatibility feature.

Meanwhile, other surprises are in store for Xbox Live members for this month, aside from the monthly release of the Games with Gold program. According to Major Nelson, Xbox Live members will get access to the EA Access Vault for free from June 12 to 22. This means that players on Xbox One with Xbox Live subscriptions and the EA Access Hub app on their consoles can get the chance to play more than 20 Electronic Arts titles, including "Battlefield: Hardline," "Dragon Age: Inquisition," "Titanfall," and "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare."

In addition, there is also an on-going Spotlight Sale for choice titles, including "Destiny: The Taken King," "EA Sports FIFA 16," and "Madden NFL 16." Aside from discounted prices for single games, there are also lowered prices for special bundles and exclusives like "Madden + FIFA Bundle," "Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition," and "Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition."

The Spotlight Sale ends on June 13 and also only available for Xbox Live members.
