The newest "X-Men" movie is coming to movie screens next year, and fans of the franchise cannot wait until the film's official trailer drops. Since "X-Men: Apocalypse" has been announced, very little has been said about the film's plot, and a trailer could give fans an idea of what to expect from the upcoming movie.
Recently, director Bryan Singer took to Instagram to tell fans that a teaser clip is on its way, and it looks like it won't be long until fans can catch a glimpse of their favorite mutants in action.
Earlier this week, Singer posted a picture of himself in the studio with the film's editor and composer John Ottman, and behind the director, a single frame of the movie is seen, which features James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier. Singer captioned the shot, "Back in the cutting room w/ #johnnottman teaser coming soon."
According to Cinemablend, the teaser clip for "X-Men: Apocalypse" may drop in the next couple of months, as the holiday season is the second busiest time of theyear for theaters.
It is believed that filming has wrapped up for the upcoming movie, but according to Le Journal de Montreal via Comicbook.com, the cast is headed back to Montreal in January for reshoots. Production is said to take place at Mel's Studio for a few weeks, which is the same location they used earlier this year for principal photography.
Le Journal de Montreal also appeared to give a major spoiler as it reports that "it seems Hugh Jackman will be on hand" for the reshoots. 20th Century Fox has not confirmed Jackman's involvement in the film, but Comicbook.com reported back in June that a special prop was created for the actor to reprise his role as Wolverine.
The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp, Evan Peters, and Olivia Munn.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" premieres on May 27, 2016.
