Saraya-Jade Bevis, more popularly known as Paige, returns to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) amid rumors of an upcoming women's Royal Rumble.

The 25-year-old wrestler, among WWE's youngest superstars, recently got back on the Monday Night Raw ring following a year of recovering from injuries, as well as joining the Survivor Series. Her fellow professional wrestler and father Patrick Bevis, also known as "Rowdy" Ricky Knight, could not be prouder.

In a Twitter post, he congratulated Paige for her comeback while also thanking WWE for taking her in once again and not giving up on her. "So proud of my daughter for fighting back from a year of injury and massive problems to see her back on TV brought tears to my eyes and sense of pride beyond description," he said in the post.

Paige's comeback was definitely one for the books, as she immediately took on Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss as well as Sasha Banks, Mickie James and Bayley. Paige did not come alone, however. She battled with her friends from NXT -- Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville-- forming the newest heel faction in WWE.

Critics say Paige's latest move means the NXT Women's Champion is gearing up to be the next Raw Women's Champion. The new faction's arrival at WWE Raw is also stirring rumors of a first-ever female Royal Rumble in a few months.

According to Sun Sports, the NXT invasion continued on Smackdown, as Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan battled with Naomi and Becky Lynch.

While WWE has had a growing number of female wrestlers for years, there is a sudden influx this year -- 11 active female talents on WWE's RAW roster and 10 on SmackDown. The media outlet believes this is leading to the first-ever women's Rumble, which is slated on Jan. 28 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

In a January podcast with The Montgomery Advertiser's "Piledriver," Bayley was quoted for saying that she is open to such battle, so long as they had the numbers. "If we had more girls brought in, maybe like NXT girls, that would be really cool and I think it would be a lot of fun," she said in the interview.
