The Rock's return in "SmackDown" was surely an epic surprise for all WWE fans, but his return was more than just giving the fans a good surprise.  Rumors point to a possible match between The Rock and Triple H in the upcoming "Wrestlemania 31."

In the 15th anniversary of "SmackDown," there was a segment that showed The Rock's return in a video with Triple H. According to Sports World News, the video was likely taped. The video showed the two veteran wrestlers talking smack and fighting on the Show of Shows. They talked about who will win if they meet in the ring.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson pushed the envelope further by going to Twitter.

He said: "@WWE @TripleH I'd still whup your candy a-- at Wrestlemania. #CheapB---ard (Had fun w/ ya homeboy;)"

This sparked more rumors that the matchup might indeed happen.

The Rock first returned on "Monday Night RAW" last week. He confronted Rusev and gave him a good beating.

Johnson tweeted his happiness with his appearance, saying, "Nothin' like havin' fun and talkin' sh*t in the 3rd person.. THANK YOU for this epic night. #PeoplesChamp"

And after that, the "SmackDown" appearance happened, which led to the rumors of the fight. However, there are still more rumored appearances for "Wrestlemania 31," and the match between The Rock and Triple H is just one of many epic matches.

According to rumors, Sting and Hulk Hogan will return as well. They will have a retirement match. Stone Cold Steve Austin is rumored to be training for his return, too.

As for the WWE World Heavyweight Champsionship Match, it is said to be the biggest match in 2015. It will be a four-way match comprised of John Cena, Rusev, Roman Reigns, and Brock Lesnar.

Other rumored matches before was Sting vs The Undertaker and Sting vs Triple H, but the latter is less likely to happen. Hogan was also supposed to face Cena, but Cena will have to go against the other three heavyweights.

Well, "Wrestlemania 31" is still months away, March 29, 2015 to be exact. There can still be a lot of match updates and changes to be made. Needless to say, fans can expect tons of suprises in the coming months.
