'White Collar' season 6 spoilers: Expect shocking ending, says USA Network president

Neil and Peter's brotherly bond in the show "White Collar" will surely be missed. It has been a great five seasons so far, but all things eventually come to an end.

For months now, "White Collar" fans have been waiting for the announcement of the sixth and final season's release date. Now that USA Network has made the announcement, it just makes things a bit more final.

USA Network announced that Season 6 will premiere on Nov. 6, Tuesday at 9/8c. Along with the announcement, Chris McCumber, President of USA Network, also released an official statement.

McCumber said, "From its inception, White Collar captured a massive and loyal following, in large part due to the incredible on-screen chemistry between Matt [Bomer] and Tim [DeKay], who deserve credit for one of the most brilliantly performed 'bromances' in all of television."

He added, "The series also benefited from smart writing and an extraordinarily talented supporting cast, who helped it become a fan favorite crime drama for five straight years. This season will not disappoint, with an exciting and shocking ending that fans will never forget."

"White Collar" creator Jeff Eastin remarked, "Saying goodbye to 'White Collar' – and Neal and Peter – after six successful seasons is incredibly difficult, but I couldn't be prouder of what our entire team has accomplished over the last six years. I'm grateful to FTVS and USA for giving the show a great home, and I can't wait for fans to see the twists, surprises and phenomenal performances our final season has in store for them."

"White Collar" did not disappoint when it comes to ratings. Even in Season 5, it was "among the top five most-watched basic cable series of Thursday nights..." reported Hollywood Reporter. However, the move to end the show is probably due to the USA Network wanting to gradually do away with scripted programming.
