The long-running manga series is ending next week with chapter 396.

Currently, the penultimate chapter of the gourmet food hunting manga is already live in both its original Japanese and translated releases. Chapter 395 closes the climax fight of Toriko and his friends with a wedding, as Toriko has promised Rin marriage once the battle against Neo and Acacia ends.

It was revealed that instead of being the big bad, Acacia has set in motion a plan to save the earth and his appetite together. Acacia has let himself be taken over by his appetite, Neo, in order to control the demon and to put it into hibernation. Meanwhile, Acacia has also deduced that within Neo is a connection to the Soul World, and all of the food that the demon appetite has gorged on are still stored there and can be revived.

With the fight reaching its climax, it is also revealed that there is something far more powerful than Neo's black cells — the mysterious third demon appetite of Toriko. The white, winged demon showed itself for just one attack, as it is so powerful that Toriko is likely to die when the demon fully transforms. The demon is also dominant enough that it has absorbed Neo's attack on Toriko, and defeated Acacia's appetite demon with just a flick of the wrist.

Meanwhile, as the wedding is already finished, it is expected that the mysteries surrounding Toriko's two other demons will also come to light. At the start, the gourmet hunter has three demons inside him, and he has taken control of his first, red demon appetite by completing his Full Course. Neo's defeat had it spewing forth all the food it has eaten in its lifetime, including food ingredients from the "blue world." This means that a full course based on those ingredients will wake up Toriko's second demon. However, as for the third one, it is unclear on what the full course will be in order for Toriko to control his last appetite demon.
