Fans of "Tom Clancy's The Division" will have to wait a little big longer as the game's beta testing has been delayed.

The upcoming game by Ubisoft has encountered a few setbacks regarding its visuals. When it was demonstrated in E3, the visuals didn't live up to audience expectations.

Furthermore, when screenshots of the alpha version were released, gamers were not all too ecstatic about its graphics. Since the game is running on the Snowdrop engine, expectations on its visuals were very high. Unfortunately, it wound up disappointing fans.

And now, news of its delay have made a buzz online.

On their official blog, Ubisoft has announced that the Xbox One beta test for the open world RPG game is going to be put off for a while.

The post read: "We know many of you have been patiently awaiting the arrival of 'The Division' Beta, and we appreciate your patience as the team remains committed to delivering an open-world action-RPG experience that exceeds your expectations on March 8, 2016. With that in mind, we're changing some of our beta plans to reach that goal, and your participation plays an important part."

The third-person shooting game had scheduled its Xbox One beta test for this month, however, setbacks have caused it to be pushed back to early 2016.

But there is a silver lining to this dark cloud. On the same blog post, Ubisoft has also announced that players who have preordered the Xbox One version of "Tom Clancy's The Division" will get the exclusive chance to access the Xbox One alpha testing phase, which will take place from Dec. 9 to 12.

Not only that, but players who have preordered the Xbox One, PS4, or PC version of the game will also gain access to the closed beta testing when 2016 rolls around.

So fans do have a reason to celebrate this Christmas after all.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" will be released on March 8, 2016.
