'The Young and the Restless' Michael Muhney to head off to 'General Hospital'?

Michael Muhney has left "The Young and the Restless," which recently won the Best Drama Series in the Daytime Emmys. Where is he headed off next? There are many rumors surrounding Muhney at this time. One is that he will return to "Y&R" and the other rumor is that Muhney will join "General Hospital" following Billy Miller's footsteps.

Fans of "The Young and the Restless" didn't like Muhney's departure from the show. But now that the dust has settled, fans are just eager to know what's next for Muhney. According to IBT, there are several occasions that Muhney is believed to make a comeback as Adam Newman in "Y&R," but at the same time, the rumor of him joining "GH" as Jason Morgan has been rampant too. So, which is which?

According to a report from Examiner, Muhney might join "General Hospital" but he will play A.J. Quartermine, not Jason Morgan. It's a character previously played by Billy Warlock and Sean Kannan. A.J. Quartermine is the son of Dr. Alan and Dr. Monica Quartermine. Don't get too excited though, this is still an unconfirmed rumor.

Meanwhile, co-cast Billy Miller also exited from "The Young and the Restless" and is going to "General Hospital" to play Jason Morgan. The character was previously played by Steven Burton. This rumor is highly likely true as Kimberly McCollough's character Robin will be returning to "GH" and fans expect Jason Morgan to be there too.

This isn't the first cast switch a roo between these two daytime shows. Recently, Michelle Stafford left "Y&R" and joined "GH." Anyway, are you a fan of both soaps? If you are, are you rooting for the rumors to be true?
