Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the survivors in "The Walking Dead" season 5 may be at their lowest point at the moment. After burying their beloved friend Beth Greene (Emily Keeney) in the midseason finale, their number continues to dwindle, seeing what happened to Tyreese (Chad Coleman) in the midseason premiere.

Lincoln warned viewers about the impending gloom in the upcoming episode of the hit zombie survival drama from AMC during an interview with TV Guide, saying, "They reach probably their lowest ebb in Episode 10, which is an extraordinary moment in the show. It's probably the lowest point all of us will reach."

He also said that the recent deaths, particularly Beth's, is taking a huge toll on the group. According to the actor, Beth's demise has an intense effect on everyone.

In the trailer video for the upcoming episode, Rick and the rest of the survivors are seen getting out of a car and beginning their journey toward the Alexandria Safe Zone. Because of their stressful journey, the members of the group break down one by one even before they reach Atlanta. One of the most obviously tired survivors is Beth's sister Maggie (Lauren Cohan), who asks if they are anywhere near their destination.

Rick is also physically and emotionally tired in the upcoming episode, and he is almost on the brink of breaking down. But his friends keep him afloat.

"Daryl (Norman Reedus) still has a huge handle on him. With Michonne (Danai Gurira), you see a huge shift. Michonne and Rick's relationship is very interesting. There are still hugely formative and important friendships that have an influence on Rick and his leadership," Lincoln said.

"The Walking Dead" season 5 episode 10 titled "Them" will air on Sunday, Feb. 15, on AMC.
