EA Games has something very special for players of "The Sims 4." For three months, the company will roll out three major updates available to those who download the game patches. These updates will include new content, new features, and fixes for minor bugs, which will surely make the simulation game's gameplay even more enjoyable. And they're free.

"We've designed The Sims 4 to be a live service, so we can continually evolve the experience, add new content, and incorporate as much of your feedback as possible," wrote Rachel Franklin, Vice President and Executive Producer of the EA Games Label, in the company's blog.

For instance, in the first update which went live this October, players can have more eye color options, plus a full Star Wars costume set so their Sims can dress up as the characters in the sci-fi flick. This includes Princess Leia's long white dress and signature hairstyle, Yoda's pointy ears, Darth Vader's black ensemble, and Luke Skywalker's space pilot suit.

Also, just in time for Halloween, there will be Ghosts in town (or one's house). Dead Sims can return to the land of the virtually-living, and they will even retain their personalities and attributes. But, according to Franklin, ghost Sims are bound to exhibit some unique behaviors influenced by their cause of death. And some of them can get quite moody and temperamental.

"Invite them to join your Sims' household and they can be playable characters; if you dare, you might even find a way to bring your ghosts back to life," Franklin wrote.

But that's not all. For November, players can expect to finally have swimming pools; and for December, the company will make more Career paths and rewards available. "The Sims" enthusiasts can expect a lot more surprises in the second and third updates.

All players have to do to get the update is, to log on to Origin then download the patches for the game.
