A very short gameplay trailer for the Wii U's "Legend of Zelda" may have revealed some crucial details about the upcoming adventure title.

According to Movie Pilot, the changes are most noticeable when fans hone in on Link's gear in the trailer.

For example, in the new trailer released for "The Legend of Zelda," Link is shown wielding a sword and shield just as he normally does, but there's something different this time around. More specifically, both Link's sword and shield appear to be different than the ones that have appeared in previous trailers for the game.

The theory goes that Link's new sword and shield combo is indicative of a gameplay feature that would allow players to change up their equipment options while playing the game. If that turns out to be the case, then that could mean that players will have numerous shields, swords, and perhaps even other kinds of weapons that they may be able to use inside "The Legend of Zelda" for the Wii U.

Another item fans have focused on in the trailer is the Sheikah Eye Book.

According to Design and Trend, that book may serve a larger purpose in the game than just a random item that Link carries around. The website goes on to suggest that the book may even factor into what eventually ends up as the official name of the Wii U's "Legend of Zelda" offering.

On top of that, some fans have even speculated that the book may even be integrated into the game in a very unique way. According to the ideas of some fans, the Sheikah Eye Book may provide the game's developers with an opportunity to utilize the Wii U gamepad in a unique way.

"The Legend of Zelda" for the Wii U is expected to be released sometime in 2016.
