'The Legend of Korra' season 4 episode 9 spoilers: perilous foliage goes wild in "Beyond the Wilds"

Series creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino faced a budget cut in the middle of the production of the popular Nickelodeon animated series "The Legend of Korra," which forced them to put together the eighth episode of Book 4 in a form of a clip show that they titled "Remembrances." In his Tumblr, Konieztko foresaw the fans' disappointment. To shed light to the recycling of the clips, he told everyone how they were left with the decision to either have some members of the production crew lose their jobs or helm a big flashback episode.

Just as the creators of the show shared their struggle in making "The Legend of Korra" the best that it can be even with a financial cutback, enough to fund one whole episode, Nickelodeon broke the news about its plans on getting Korra's avatar friends and foes back to TV screens. After the network's decision in summer to take it out and put it up on Nick.com instead, Nickelodeon turned around and announced through Facebook that Book 4 of the much-loved series will take flight on Nov. 28, with new episodes premiering every Friday night. While it is enough to psych them up, fans could not help but question the logic behind the stunt. For one, IO9 finds it rather odd to remove it from TV, reduce its budget, then have it return again when it's on its way to its conclusion in their website.

With only limited episodes left, the current season of the show is nearing its culmination in Nick.com. The upcoming episode is called "Beyond the Wilds: Airbender in the City." In this episode, which happens to be the show's ninth, Ryu and his gang's tour around the city quickly turns into a mishap when the spirit vines decide to haunt and attack them. Empty Light House, and pretty much everyone, suspects that the plaguing violent flora could only be the work of power-greedy Kuvira.

After episode 8's reminiscence and episode 9's foliage bedlam, iDigital Times reiterated that "The Legend of Korra" has about three episodes left to tie all loose ends. As the conclusion closes in, viewers can watch it slowly unfold in "Beyond the Wilds: Airbender in the City" on Nick.com by Nov. 28.
