'The Incredibles 2' rumors: More trouble reportedly in store for the family

The plot of "The Incredibles 2" is expected to focus on the inner turmoil brewing within the Parr family.

More specifically, the plot of "The Incredibles 2" could feature a unique twist in the form of Jack-Jack turning against the rest of the family, according to Movie News Guide.

In the first movie, viewers got a quick glimpse of what Jack-Jack is capable of and the second film is expected to build on that. Rumors have even suggested that Jack-Jack could be the main villain of the second film.

Aside from handing over a more prominent role to Jack-Jack, "The Incredibles 2" is also expected to focus more on the inner workings of the Parr family, although exactly what will be showcased in the sequel is still unclear at this point.

"The Incredibles 2" could also lay the foundation for the franchise to move forward with the younger members of the Parr family, with the two parents moving to lesser roles, provided of course that more movies are made going forward.

Unfortunately, that's the extent of what's known about the plot of "The Incredibles 2" for now, so fans looking to learn more about what the movie has in store will likely have to wait until next year to receive more details.

In related news, "The Incredibles 2" will also be featuring the same composer who worked on the original film, Cinema Blend reported.

Michael Giacchino will be featuring his work yet again in the second film.

Giacchino picked up multiple awards for the work he did in the first "Incredibles" film and Pixar is banking on him being able to make the same musical magic again for the next one.

Giacchino's return should appease fans who have high anticipations for "The Incredibles 2," as they can now expect more delightful and exciting music to be featured in the upcoming film.
