'The Elder Scrolls 6' update: Game to arrive in 2019?

Hopes are high for "The Elder Scrolls" video game franchise as new reports have surfaced stating the game's possible release year.

Speculations began when Bethesda's Vice President of PR and Marketing Pete Hines teased in a 2015 report, from DualShockers, that the sixth installment of the action role-playing open world fantasy game was currently in the works. But while he did not reveal the title of the upcoming game, Hines joked about calling it "Skyrim 2."

However, Hines did not mention the exact release date of the next "Elder Scrolls" movie. But Neurogadget speculated that the sixth installment of the game could be out in 2019.

New speculations claim that new details about the rumored "The Elder Scrolls 6" game may be revealed at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo, happening from June 14 to 16, 2016.

There are also reports saying that the title of the game could be revealed in 2017. This could debunk rumors saying that "Skyrim 2" will be the title of the next game.

But while waiting for an official announcement regarding the "The Elder Scrolls 6," Bethesda is gearing up to release the next DLC for "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited," beginning in late May.

According to the game's official blog, "The Dark Brotherhood DLC game pack—complete with a new Dark Brotherhood passive skill line, an all-new PVE area of Cyrodiil called the Gold Coast, hours of new story content and more—will be accessible at no cost to those who have an active ESO Plus membership. Otherwise, it will cost 2,000 crowns in the ESO Crown Store."

The Dark Brotherhood DLC will be released on the PC and Mac on May 31, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be released on June 14. But players may start downloading "The Elder Scrolls Online" PTS (Public Test Server) now.
