'The Blacklist' season 2 spoilers, Netflix release date: Red's new threat

Fans are smiling from ear-to-ear as "The Blacklist" Season 2 will finally arrive. This means that Red and his awesomeness are back for another season. But this time, Red might be having more trouble than he can handle.

Season 1 had 22 episodes and Season 2 will have the same. There will be new cast members like Mozhan Marno who will play Tamar Katzman. Elizabeth Keen's character, Megan Boone, might start the season feeling jealous of Tamar as Red hires her to personally investigate Elizabeth.

Fans know how Red cares about Elizabeth and it will be interesting to see why Red had to hire someone to follow Elizabeth around. Details of this storyline will be immediately revealed in the first episode, "Lord Baltimore," reports Air Herald.

The same episode will feature the new threat that will come Red's way. Additionally, "Lord Baltimore" will show that Elizabeth is moving on from the Tom drama. Further, Berlin will be seen in this episode, too.

Moreover, in the second season, things between Elizabeth and Red will be a bit rocky, obviously. Elizabeth feels like she can't trust Red anymore because she found out Red was using her. But then, Elizabeth will try to trust Red again.

In related news, Indiewire reports that Netflix is spending 2 million per episode for "The Blacklist." Doing the math, that's 44 million dollars on the first season and another 44 million on the second season.

For a network to spend this much on an episode, let alone, an entire season, Netflix has full confidence that "The Blacklist" is one quality TV series. And surely, fans around the world agree on this one.

"The Blacklist" returns this September on Netflix.
