Tekken fans should prepare for the launching of the recently released "Tekken 7" combat game in different game consoles this year.

Speculations claim that the release date of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the long running fighting game will be announced during the game's showcase at this year's EVO 2015 tournament in Las Vegas scheduled on July 17 to 19 this year, since the game is listed as one of the titles that will be featured in the fighting game event's roster

The game is currently being enjoyed in its arcade version, which was first released in Japan on February 18. The rest of the world got to play the 2015 installment from the Tekken franchise beginning March 18.

But while the world waits the announcement for the console versions of the game, fans are still treated with several character announcements and gameplay trailer releases recently.

One of the most recent additions in the roster of Tekken 7 characters is the Filipina Eskrima expert and trained kickboxer named Josie Rizal. She was featured in some of the most recent gameplay trailers that the game studio released. She is known to be highly skilled in using a Filipino martial arts weapon called "arnis," which is two bamboo sticks than can be used to attack the opponents.

Josie Rizal will join the other Tekken newcomers like the beginner-friendly Saudi Arabian Military fighter named Shaheen, the Brazilian Savate combatant named Katarina Alves, the Italian fighter who can conjure a light weapon through his palm named Claudio Serafino, as well as the freestyle dancer wearing a kitten-themed attire named Lucky Chloe.

There is also a new unplayable boss character named Devil Kazumi, which is also rumored to be promoted as a playable character in the future.

Other playable characters features in Tekken 7 includes Alisa Bosconovitch, Asuka Kazama, Bryan Fury, Devil Jin, Feng Wei, Heihachi Mishima, Hwoarang, Jin Kazama, King II, Lars Alexandersson, Leo Kliesen, Lili, Ling Xiaoyu, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Sergei Dragunov, as well as Steve Fox.
